Choose items that will suit diets and tastes and include chicken or a turkey breast if everyone likes/can eat. If someone cannot eat either, just ask what they prefer as a single serving. Having a variety of veges and salads is always a good idea.

If you all like turkey, it is not too much for 6 adults. You don't have to get a 25lb, you can get 13 or 14lb. turkeys. Also, in addition to above, you can get turkey breasts on the bone.

Prime rib, roast pork, leg of lamb. All are festive meats.

Ends up hubby wants to do a spathcocked small turkey on the grill. Fine with me!
