Hello,

We want to remodel our master bathroom and would greatly appreciate feedback on our floorplans.

I have attached the existing and new plan. (We did double check that moving drains and plumbing will not be an issue).

assuming the layout will work for your lifestyle, not just a beauty layout.

I don't understand the need for a toilet closet.

I also prefer a vanity near a natural light source.

A hot mess !!!!.....Too much in there and nobody can figure out your red squiggle. Walls are straight....

Thank you Jan. You are correct, I have edited the 1st sketch with red straight lines.

That's a great layout suggestion, I'll have to think about the smaller closet space suggested.

Way too many things shoehorned in creating awkward walkways. Jan’s plan has order and scale proportional to the bedroom. What can change (window layouts etc)?

IF you are attempting two 8 foot closets, a tub, a decent shower and double vanity in a primary suite of this size? You can not in any good way.

Give something up. Logically, that's the TUB. You've another in a bath in the hall.

What is it you want to improve we have no idea so we guess, I hate toilet closets no one should be using the toilet while someone else is in the bathroom. MY 2 Cs until I get some info from you . Right now too much stuff crammed in the space . For sure no closet in the bathroom

Post an existing plan, including the entire floor.

Some things are concerning about window sizes (transom height with 8' ceiling and transom at tub), the tub side against a prefab corner shower, the tub drain flipped opposite of where the slope goes and mixing valve goes, and the bath closet is not 24" deep clear.

Also, round dimensions to 1/2" at it's smallest.

I have a toilet room and closet in my bath and it is not a problem. Let's be realistic-two people will be in the bath at the same time, especially in the am. Our other bath is 50+ feet away, I am not going down there if DH is in the shower. Our clothes have never gotten mildew on them either. Perhaps it depends on your climate.

I will say that the pocket door going behind the vanity does cause an issue with towel rods and outlets. No one saw that problem in our kids bath until it was time to mount the tp holder.

On paper, it does look tight but I would want to see a 3D model of the room before I started over.
