I agree to vague. Waht is the reason for the redo thta is where you start. Wht do you NEED in the space first . Then the wants come into play . To get any help here we need a to scale floor plan of the whole area every window, doorway where those lead every measurement clearly marked posted here in jpeg format in a comment. DO NOT START another post. Use graph paper it makes the plan a little easier to do. Then you add a list of the must haves and wants .Every single person will have a different list only you know what you need .

I purposely did it vague- meaning what are your must haves! His and her closet or big closet? Makeup vanity in bathroom or closet? Toilet room or just a wall? Things like that!

All right . I hate toilet rooms, I dislike FS tubs . I do like a single sink and larger counter space instead . I do make up in the bathroom but no need for an actual sit down space . If you like to siy at a vanity to do makeup the best place is in the bedroom with good lighting and make up storedd out of a humid space . Heated floors nice but not a must. I love a large walkin closet if there is space shared is okay . If that is not possible then I love Pax from Ikea as a reach in with well planned storage. along a nice long wall. So we need a to scale plan to actually even begin to be helpful. A bunch of guesses will IMO get you nowhere

Enough space in the bedroom to be able to walk around the very comfortable bed, have nightstands on both sides, and some storage furniture. Ceiling fan and functional windows. Cat perch space by windows. Good exhaust fan in the bathroom. Euorpean TP holders. My must have list is pretty short.

Outside that. Heated floors in the bathroom would be nice. We have more than one toilet in the house, so no need to have a seperate toilet room or wall in the master bath. I like our shower, it's a walk in with glass doors. If I redid it, I would probably choose a solid pan over the current tile floor in there. The small closet in the master is plenty for his hanging things now that I've taken my overstuffing out of there.

I took over the spare bedroom as my dressing room. I guess a must have for me is an entire room worth of closet, sigh. In my dressing room is must haves. A plush rug. Good lighting, need it for detail work. A large dresser mirror and also a full length mirror. A lot of hang bar space with above shelving for hats and such. Below for boxes and chests. Accoutrement storage. Dressmakers form, dummy heads, and bust form. Irons and steamer. And my convertable chair/stepladder/ironing board. Not my pic, but one of these:

The question needs to be answered by you, not us. What areyour must-haves? How much closet space do you need? Do you need a tub? How many sinks do you want? Where do you prefer to do makeup? Do you want morning light in your bedroom? Etc, etc, etc.

For me, the most important thing in almost any room is lots of natural light. Can't have too much.

Coffee station plus window in the closet with dressing room area. Window seat reading nook in bedroom. Bidet and heated towel bars in bathroom.

Two dudes so we didn’t waste space on a makeup area ;)

One other thought - we added a skylight and love the additional natural light - we have large windows but they are usually covered for privacy
