When you say wine/liquor room, is it primarily for storage? Or are you also trying to cram in a man cave and/or a bar? I think you need to decide its purpose before we can help you with the layout.

We have a room dedicated to booze storage that we built out using IKEA Ivar shelving, which helpfully now includes wine racks so you can mix-and-match shelves and racks. We use it as a tasting room, so there's a table and chairs. I think ours is about 15x13 with 9' ceilings and no windows. It's not temperature controlled but it's below-ground so the temp never really fluctuates, either.

ETA: This is tucked away in the basement in a room with a door. It would drive me NUTS if it was upstairs in the front of the house. You might want to consider custom storage with doors (like from a place that does closets and pantries) to make it neat and tidy.

I agree what is the purpose of the space jst some display of stuff or are you planning to use it like a entertaing space . I personally do not like liquor bottles as decor and for sure not in a space at the front of my home entry . So need info.

Main goal is to tidy up and repurpose room that used to be office then craft room. While I’d love to have it as a sort of tasting room or just go in select then move back to main living space. A few seats (max 4 due to size limitations) or perhaps 2 comfy chairs would be ok. We would like to store most bottle out of site for tidiness, maybe a small display but not crucial. I called it man cave only for his collectibles. It would not be a room used to host a lot of people.

The small bar we have that not an obvious bar would only be moved in if enhancing the space but not a must.

Since it’s right off entry, would like it to not look cramped but clean and tidy even though doors can close and shutoff the room.

Remove everything that is not wanted. Place the low piece on 3-windowed wall and measure to see if 2 chairs can fit on the sides - can move them out a bit so not cramped.

On the long wall, add the hutch and if it can’t be centred due to chairs, can be resolved visually with art placement and/or a large plant.

Once layout is finalized, consider colors, (including wall) and decide how you want room to feel style wise. Only then look for chairs and a rug (measure out different sizes first). Lighting is an important aspect and suggest changing fan if possible and add low lighting, either on the low piece or a floor lamp.

This moody green color will look great in your room no matter the size of the room

I love that color, but would that color look good with the bright John Deere green bright yellow collectibles? Or does it not matter as the shelving/furniture might diffuse the brightness?

Also, would a darker color or moody green look ok with white shutters? I’d really love to change color but was worried about the bright white shutters as well as the smaller collectibles (not all pictured).

Your best bet is to start looking for ideas on line to start to narrow down a color, then test different shades in room. Don’t let the white shutters limit choices.
