The white in the chair is so much whiter than the cream in the rug. So, it's a no for me.

It is the cool gray and white of the tile that doesn't work for me.

Hard to judge, but I don’t think it clashes with rug; maybe decide based on how its style works overall in room and the couch especially.

IMO the scale of the pattern is too large and clashes with the area rug.

Looking for a pattern in grays or a caramel could work in the room.

There seems to be an attempt to mix the "gray trend" with the "brown trend", which doesn't work in the majority of cases.

the chair works with the rug, but the sectional is too casual for your traditional architecture.

I see no cohesion in the room you seem to be just throwing suff into a space with no plan. A hard no for rug and chair together .

I actually find the chair less objectionable than the sectional.
