What’s the other side of frig look like? Do you have storage needs?

How about a picture showing the entire wall as well as others of your entire kitchen. This corner needs to be part of the whole kitchen and not in a vacuum.

these come in various configurations and dimensions...you can back one up to side of fridge or the wall w outlet for a coffee pot...or corner possibly...... extra storage or display or combination / not very expensive / with the chosen dimension you can leave the floor register untouched. you dont mention if there is a specific need in mind.

I'll second the idea of a baker's rack. Unlike "real" cabinetry, it won't interfere with the heating unit, and it'll give you some extra storage.

Don't know what you have on the right side of the picture but I would also say a baker's rack. If you don't need additional kitchen storage you can style the rack.

No bakers rack. A chest of drawers or sideboard like furniture piece that is painted the same color as the cabinets, or a color that coordinates with the room.

add a big white cabinet or painted chest to match what you have for more storage..I know it is hard with all the baseboards.

What is your plan for the heater? Will you be moving it? That will dictate what storage options you have.

I like the idea of a cabinet which makes more practical & decor sense. I’d want it to be counter height & same style as kitchen cabs. Customize it by adding 4 legs to it so that air flow can occur underneath the cabinet to accomodate the baseboard heating radiators.

ETA - just realized there’s a window there so maybe cabinet is short / same height as window? Think about adding white shelves above cabinet & have the depth defined by the space between window & corner so shelving doesn’t hang out over window space.

Maybe stack 12"D uppers that match the rest in your Kitchen (if you can get them), but put feet on the bottom one to raise it above the baseboard heat. I wouldn't store food in it though, at least not in the bottom cabinet b/c of the heat.

For 8' ceilings:

• 8 or 9 inches of legs
• two 39"W x 12"D x 36"H upper cabinets
• one 39"W x 12"D x 12"H upper above - or whatever height will take you to the same height as the refrigerator's upper cabinet
• Same crown as over rest of cabinets

Great option on amazon…make sure when measuring width of cabinet needed you subtract the depth of the baseboards.

I’m team baker’s rack. I use mine to hold my mom’s big Le Creuset pot that doesn’t fit in the cabinets, and a couple of other enameled cookware, as well as some decorative items. I have a small lamp on top which is nice in the evening. Mine has a wine rack that I use for our Pellegrino, you wouldn’t want wine in your location. I also have a painted metal box, kind of like a bread box, that hold some things I don’t want on display.

Or, you could do wall-mounted shelves. Maybe the lower shelves a are a little deeper than the uppers, depending on your storage needs. And use baskets or pretty boxes to store things.

I was going to suggest built-in shelves too. You could easily leave the bottom open for the heating. Build a nice solid shelf about waist high and use it as a coffee bar, or for small appliances - and you can customize the shelving to account for the windows as well.

It may not be able to be very deep, but you could make it look very nice and add some extra storage and/or counter space.
