How do you reach anything above the 2nd shelf ?

I'm 5'3" and wouldn't be able to reach anything above the 2nd shelf at that angle and in a corner. I like the look, understand the layout, etc, but it just seems impractical.

Totally fair and a good observation! Our client is a similar height, and took that into consideration when we designed the space. However, she knew they would be storing less frequently used items there, and in an already small kitchen footprint, wanted the extra storage and aesthetic over the every day accessibility
