I think you're headed in the right direction with contempory art-spare and plain with minimal framing. The mirror's not staying in the corner, correct? I'd opt for a plain throw rug since you now have your wallpaper as the dramatic focal point.

I like the rug you have. the pattern is so large that it is a good offset to the wallpaper. I like the first art best but I think you need some color in this room.

The artwork would look vastly better on the plain walls, not the wallpapered wall. The artworks don't have enough distinct character to hold their own against the palm pattern.

@cyprissa. Are you thinking in the pillows and the throwers? Or in the art? I have some blue and the rest of the house so I wouldn’t mind incorporating that.

A mirror with a wide black border would look good. Or nothing.
