What style and color barstool?

last year

Finishing up kitchen remodel in MCM home and need to get barstools and furniture. Family room furniture is more challenging so starting with barstools to finish off kitchen.I would like barstools that tie in black slate but also compliments white kitchen with brushed gold hardware.
I thought this one might work (2nd one on order)but think it might be too dark and heavy looking.
Would appreciate any ideas on barstools that work with this island.

hard to tell what dimensions you have. are you aiming for 2? and when unused stay skooched under? still stick w something unobtrusive..... the heaviness of metal wouldnt appeal to me

Nice suggestions! The last one is my favorite. The island is quite a bit narrower than originally planned and two stools 14.5” wide and 26” high will fit. I prefer backless so I can keep them tucked away when not in use and some cushioning.
