Hallet & Co - did you mean "and one larger (piece of art) on the blank wall" next to the toilet or opposite the toilet? Art on both walls? I do agree that a shelf would be too distracting. Ty!

That sink is amazing! I agree with putting art over the toilet. What kind of towels do you need to store - just hand towels? I wonder if something like this could be mounted across from the toilet to hold extra hand towels, spare TP and a candle or diffuser.

Or possibly a modern-looking woven basket tucked in the corner below the sink. You might have to try it out to see how you like it, but if it's pushed back it might not take away from the sink.

And how about a small vintage rug?

Yes, just hand towels and maybe a place for extra toilet paper. Completely forgot about a rug and those are good ideas. The hanging shelf opposite the toilet might work (has to be shallow enough not to get in the way). Thank you for the great ideas!

Oh my, such a pretty powder room! I would want to keep the space clear as much as possible and let the new artwork really elevate the space. Perhaps explore a pretty over the door 2 shelf unit to hold TP and extra hand towels. I would get the art before deciding on any small rug.

Fabulous room! Keep it simple, let the sink be the star! As la la said get an elegant soap dispenser. Great art over the toilet, a wastebasket and maybe a basket for extra tp and towels. I'd use baskets made of brass.. No need for shelving or a rug. And please no over the door shelving or hooks!

All of the different opinions and suggestions are helping me get direction. Agreeing with keeping it simple and elegant, artwork over the toilet (possibly 2 stacked black & whites), a wastebasket (modern rattan or brass, with a lid) to put under sink or between sink and toilet. I'm also thinking of another basket or small storage bench (maybe in corner in front of toilet) to put some hand towels and allow someone to lay a phone or purse on it?

And, yes, need an elegant soap dispenser. Hadn't heard of Polished Jar so will check that out. Thank you!

You've created such a beautiful gem of a bathroom. Baskets would really bring down the look. I vote for the trash can and tp holder in the brass set from West Elm. Maybe the TP holder could fit in the corner to next to the toilet so it is mostly out of sight. If not, then in the corner across from the toilet. I would be nice to not see it when the door is just open.

I'd put artwork above the toilet and a brass hook on the wall across from the toilet. Women can hang a purse from it.

You should be able to do a google search and find numerous powder rooms similar to your to give you inspiration.

Continue the brass - wastebasket and towel bars. Or buy a brass paper guest towel holder if you don’t want more holes in the walls.

Definitely agree that one fabulous, whimsical piece of art is going to help enhance the dramatic room you’ve created.

I would decide on either yes or no to a rug after you’ve done these items. If you love the floor tile, I would skip it. I put gorgeous blue hexagons tiles in my powder room and wouldn’t want to cover them.

A nice soap dispenser and I only use diposible towels in a PR no one wants to use a towel others have used . The dispenser can be lucite and I hang mine on the wall where you have the hand towel now .You can get the towels in gold too and apparentyl also done with monogram.

I would think about the vibe you want in this room. When I'm at a person's house, I like the guest bath to feel quiet and private, like a brief escape from the party. Anyone else, or is that just the introvert in me? The dark paint is conducive to that, but everything else right now is a cold, hard surface. For that reason, I'd add a rug and other textures so it's not echoey in there. Maybe also a plant and a candle. I also am afraid that adding only accessories in the same gold color will look too matchy and one-note. This room can be beautiful with emphasis on the sink while also feeling good.

If you fall in love with accessories that aren’t brass, just get some spray paint. I used Antique Brass for my sink, mirror and faucet so of course a wastebasket was impossible to find. I liked the small chrome one I already had so I sprayed that and a paper napkin holder. Now it all works.

Patricia is right - no one wants to share a cloth towel so put up one pretty one but have the paper ones that everyone will ultimately use. The possibilities for those takes more time to find on Amazon than everything else combined!
