Go for the bright orange color--be brave!!!

You can go any way you like, basically. Your room is very neutral. Pretty much a blank slate. So any orange would work. And many neutrals would work. I think either one of your rug options would work.

I love the zebra. I think rugs are a great way to not only bring the other pieces together but add some color to a space then use those colors for accents . You do not seem to have a lot of wall space for art so IMO go a bit crazy for the rug Acouple more ideas
