We have design plans for a 10 foot long island but the sink is off centered in the island because of cabinet placements but mostly because we have an extension for seating to the left of the island. The sink is now out of alignment from the range but creates a nice triangle between range sink and fridge. My issue is where do we place pendants on the island. centered to the island? Or centered to the functional part (not take the extension part in to account)? Will one work better with respect to the range wall? we plan to have sconces on either side of the plaster hood so I am thinking three pendants might be much over the island as it will overlap the sconces.
