We have been waking up in the frosty 30's for the past few mornings.

I haven't brought in a single plant. Hope they are okay.

Jeanne ~ are you still using your aerogarden to grow stuff at your new place? You mention coelus/herbs that grow on small side, do you have a variety you were looking at Baker Creek?

I grew a lot of herbs this year and love having a big variety.

Nicole, I did use my Aerogarden in the Spring and a few herbs grew great. Basil was one of them. I also grew green peas (a miniature type version) and they were doing well but the roots got huge so that wasn't good for the water system. Sorry, haven't had a chance to browse the seed catalogs. I move this week but will be back and forth from my house to the new place. I'm sure I won't attempt to set up the Aerogarden again until after the holidays. Lettuce did really well in it also and I think another that did well is parsley.

I will be mailing my cards this week.

Also, I'm having issues with Houzz.

I seem to be "signed out" and it's not allowing me to sign in. Also wouldn't allow me to post earlier.

Mail seems really slow this year. I ordered a few Christmas presents on cyber Monday (2nd) and still haven't received.

I didn't hear back from Houzz, but I seem to be "signed in" now and able to post.

My cards are ready, and will be dropped at the post office tomorrow!

Happy Friday Eve everyone! Thanks everyone for mailing out your cards and swapping this month for I know its a very busy month.

Any Christmas plans? Any cooking/baking? I need to make mash potatoes for one gathering and the other gathering, I don't know yet.

Annie, so happy you got the card and goodies so fast. Happy Holidays!! Stickers are from amazon. I have tried a few recipes of Lemon Bars but from my experience, the recipe that I sent to you is by far one of the most requested from those who I have given to. Hopefully one day you can make them and let me know what you think or should I say, how does it taste!

I certainly will make your lemon bar recipe. I do make lemon bars more than a few times a year. And I like to try new recipes. I do know off hand, that one change that I will make to your recipe is........adding nuts (walnuts or pecans) to the crust. Nuts go in pretty much every desert crust I make....pie, cake, bar etc......

Got this cute card and envelope seals from Nicole yesterday. I certainly can use these. I couldn't find mine when I was sending cards.

I love lemon squares. My daughter makes the best ones I've ever had. I've made them, but didn't like how I scratched my pan when cutting the squares. I think the recipe was from my SIL.

Got mail last night from some Christmassy Fotessers.

Ruth sent a lovely card...a Christmas Tree, gifts and Merry Christmas, along with Christmas labels.....very cute. I love stickers and labels!! Thanks Ruth!!

Jeanne sent a Christmas Tree Farm barn card....I have never visited a snowy Christmas tree lot (or farm) with a barn and a sled. You ladies in snow country know all about it. I would love to get a tree one time in my life at a location like this card....but then I wonder, do these places really exist???? LOL! Thank you Jeanne also for the tea....Pomegranite Green Super Fruit Tea. I think I am going to make this in a few minutes and enjoy while I listen to Festive Christmas music and wrap gifts with my dog!

Ladies, I was just able to get back online this evening. My daughter and her husband rescued me. There is an IT person here so I was expecting him to get me squared away but so glad to be "rescued" now. Wow, 10 days without computer access was a challenge. I have received my cards and your lovely tuck-ins and wish everyone a wonderful Christmas. I've been tucking cards in a basket so will look through them with more attention in a few days.. Moving shortly before Christmas sure has been an experience!
