Bella Bella is finished!

Pattern name is Centrino la Dolce from the book Bella Bella quilts. I had some issues with the quilting, so it won't be a quilt show entry. I'm happy with it and at least I finally made a quilt from the book I've had for at least 10 years!

It's 56" square and will be a wall hanging. Of course, Charlie-who-is-into-everything had to see what I was doing. :)

I just spent some time on Amazon looking through the Bella Bella book. What beautiful patterns. I was just in Venice a couple months ago, and in St. Mark's Cathedral, I took the following picture of the floor. It really resembles many of the patterns in the book, minus everyone's feet. It was so crowded that I couldn't get a good photo.

Donna, that's a lovely quilt. It looks quite complicated. Lots of small pieces and circles. I'm going to look that book up. I probably won't buy it (I have so many), but it will be fun to peruse.

Charlie is a beautiful boy. I love his coloration.

Lois, that mosaic is stunning! The planning and craftsmanship are amazing.

Lois, that floor in your picture actually reminds me of the mariner's compass patterns in some of Judy Mathieson's books. She is one of my quilting idols!
