Room and Board makes the line called Parsons which can be customized in any size with about 20 ish different top selections from clear glass to woods to marble, etc. we have one and highly recommend it.

Yep, Room and Board Parsons is the way to go. Some of their examples may appear too contemporary or modern for you, but it is all in the mixing and matching of finishes. WIth the right combo you can make it look transitional.
