I would prefer the same style window in the whole house.

Your windows should be consistent. Double hungs on the house seem appropriate.

I think your front canopy could use some help. More substantial uprights for your canopy would be a good first move.

All double hung windows with no grids.

Consider going double hung on the front and sides, and have grids in just the front, to mimic the cute front door. Ideally, I think the preference would be to use all the same style windows. Our first home was similar in style to yours, and we had double hung everywhere except over the kitchen sink, I had a casement window there where it made sense. My pet peeve in this house is the double hung windows, the top window is fixed and doesn't tilt in for easy cleaning.

This is a classic cape/ American small house. Why are casements being considered? These always have double hung sash windows. I prefer 6/1 if you have the budget for sdl. All four sides the same.

The reason for this mis match of window styles is because I would really love to have retractable screens and there is a company here that does them in my budget but the down side is they don't offer grids on the glass for the double or single hung, only for casements. Ideally I do prefer single hung with 2 over 2 but I just hate having screens so I'm torn but sounds like this option isn't really a good one.

Double hungs no grids is the answer .That house should not have casement windows .

@BeverlyFLADeziner thanks for the ideas, I'd love to update the front, it's still the original from when it was built. It's not top of list right now since we have a limited budget but it's definitely something I'd love to do and I love the images you shared.
