How about some measurements? Floor plan measurements. Is there a TV in the cabinet? what else is in the cabinet?

Yes. That is a step down. There is only a tv and a few Knick knacks

The room is 21x17.

Have you ever tried the TV cabinet up on that elevated area? Move the sofa forward and use the area off the kitchen as a dining room.

Our kitchen has an island and is our dining room and the tv cabinet is huge and gets in the way in that elevated area.

How do you use the elevated area? Would the TV cabinet work against the wall with the bulletin board? Then move the couch to face it. It would create a cozy TV viewing area and the cabinet would be less imposing in that back area. The window seat along with a couple comfy chairs across could serve as a separate conversation area.

Great look! There maybe push back to my idea (which is okay with me), so thinking, you have a lot of light front the windows. What would you lose, considering your dilemma, to putting the large t v cabinet in front of the window where the sofa is? Positioning it a few inches out from the window, would give you a back light during the day. At night, put a up light on the floor behind it.

Move the sofa so it faces the t v. Large round mirror on the wall where the cork board it.

Possible?

Given your fridge, I'd say you *are* open to anything! Thanks for sharing all of these pics of your kitchen. Where do you currently sit to watch TV? Post a drawing with measurements of your space and the cabinet. Can't give realistic recommendations without them.

So so fun to see such a personal and unique space on Houzz! Your kitchen is fabulous and you must get an emotional rush every time you enter and spend time in that room. Agree that it would help to see measurements of your living room/TV viewing space. Hard to get an idea of length of walls and position of openings.

I can think of more than one person who would swoon over your kitchen. Way to make it YOURS! Your living area is a challenge--size wise. I am anxious to see how it turns out. It seems you got some workable suggestions.

I ahve to say the pnk is daring but sometimes you just have to do something you love. IMO that window seat does not work with what you have going on so maybe some mongolian lamb pillows one of which is pink could work . I hate the black in that space I would do something like this in that LR
