TV wall decor help

Need help with decorating this TV wall. I was thinking a piece of art over the chair. Also open to painting or creating an accent wall. I included a photo of the living area to show the style of the room.

I would center the cabinet and the TV on the wall. More preferable would be a TV console/cabinet at least 25% wider than the TV. I think there is enough in the space and the TV wall does not need anything else on it. Your eye needs a place to rest whrn taking in a space.

Always place the tree by the window. It looks more realistic.

You'll have to boost the height of this tree by placing it in a taller planter.

I'd probably add a floor lamp next to the chair also

Why is the seating arranged with no one facing the fireplace?

The fireplace is double sided so there is seating facing it in the other room

I would replace the fake tree with a real one and put it near the window instead of putting art there. i also live the idea of a longer lower tv console.

To my eye it looks like you're trying to fit a square peg into a round hole in the arched niche above the fireplace.

    There are better solutions.

Yes the art was larger than i thought and im looking for something else to replace it

What is the size of the niche over the fireplace? I have a couple ideas for you.

What is the situation with rugs in this room? I know of want a rug anchoring this area, but noticed there is not a rug under your sofa.

Do you need the piece of furniture that is under the TV? Does it actually store anything? Wonder if the TV would look better with out it and just a little ledge of wood beneath. Do you need more toy storage - is that what is on the floor in the basket?

Does anyone ever sit in that chair? It feels a bit out of place, like a prop. Do you need it in this area?

Is the TV centered on this wall? If not, why not? And, if not, maybe it needs to be even more off center so it looks purposeful. If you remove the art from above the fireplace cut out, could you find a way to hang it semi-behind the tree for a layered look in the corner? If could look horrible or interesting - maybe if you nudge the TV more to the right?

The bin is for toy store and we do store things in the cabinet. The tv is centered to the sectional. And nobody really sits in the chair but I didn’t know what else to put there

The area over the fireplace measures approx 50”x45”x5”

Center the media cabinet to the wall not the sectional…it will look so much better..

Adding art to a TV wall can really elevate the space and make it feel more inviting. Whether you go for minimalist framed prints, a bold statement piece, or even a gallery wall, the right artwork can complement the tech while enhancing the room’s style. Just be sure it doesn’t overpower the TV itself—balance is key!
