Kitchen Faucet suggestions

Looking to replace our existing kitchen faucet. Will be with a stainless steel sink. I prefer no fancy gadgets that will break easily but just something that looks nice and will not need replacing in a couple of years. Any recommendations welcome.

Say you want a stainless kitchen faucet. There are So Many! You might want to look at a store near you, or on this site. Getting one from a real plumbing store will mean better construction than what you get from Amazon or Lowes. Hard to guess at your style, even given "no gadgets" as a lot of the feel of them varies...

Hopefully one of those would do the job.

Delta and moen are both good at opening price points. I love California faucets, rohl, grohe… head to a local plumbing store (not big box) so you can touch and feel them. I also don’t like electronics in my faucets. Note that it’s huge in the industry right now so they will display a ton of them. If you find one on display you love but it’s touchless is often available without that feature.

I run a catering biz from my home so my faucets get a ton of use we have 2 of these from Krauss back to back in our island they are now 4 yrs old and still going strong , thye have the best spray I have even had in a faucet . I have to admit I love the style in my kitchen too . BTW what is the style of your kitchen . I too dislike any auto feature ever

Thank you for the recommendation on the Kraus faucet. Do you remember the name of it so I can see if it is available?

I replaced mine recently with an expensive Kholer Crue faucet in brushed gold but it comes in many finishes. Pros are for the high arch, good spray and the lever control is 6" above the counter - much easier to use. What I missed completely in my research is the pull down spray head is NOT magnetic. You have to push it back in place.

    I ordered mine from Build.com

I dislike faucets where I have to hold the spray button down to keep the spray function on. (That steered me away from the Rohl and Grohe faucets I looked at.) I have had good luck with Kohler in my previous house and Brizo in my current house. Brizo is a brand of the Delta family.

That Krause is really nice. Wish that I’d seen it a few months ago. I’m a sleek and simple person so I went with the Koehler in acm’s third pic above. It is great. It replaced a monster like one of the Californias above, which I hated. It was way too big and a pia to use with that crossbar. I guess that I worked in restaurants too long, but I don’t need a commercial kitchen looking faucet.

Love a Delta faucet. They have a great warranty and will send you parts if needed. Easy to repair and they have some nice sleek options. Also I have spoken to customer service and they confirmed that the interior components are the same whether purchased through a plumbing supply house vs a big box store.

No matter what brand you buy - go for a ceramic disc valve - doesn't have rubber components that wear down.
