I wouldn't do pulls w/backplates bc they show ALL the fingerprints. My laundry room has them (much less opportunity for dirty hands to open cabs) and I regret the choice.

I ahve no idea and IMO until the kitchen is done just wait. What the heck is that huge cabinet sitting on the counter wasting what little counter you have. Sorry the kitchen looks a mess and those tacky little shelves are not helping . Maybe a post a pic of the actual kitchen plan then it might make sense .. I see no range no hood hardly any counter . IMO way to early to choose hardware

My sister has one piece in her kitchen that is furniture-esque vs the other cabinets.

This is what she did:

Different finish - different pulls on the drawers, knobs the same. Kept some consistancy with the cabinet hardware.

The above pic was from when she built - Island counter was broken during install and is still missing.

Later my sister found unique knobs and pulls and decided to use them on the white cabinets. She loves them, hand made, something different on every cabinet and drawer.

They go great with the light pull she placed in the adjoining dining room.

I knew when she was deciding if she should do this, and I think they are fun.

Most other people don't even notice.

A designer I know has a sink in her showroom bathroom with 3 different finishes - each handle and the faucet are different. She did this so people could see what the finishes look like. No one notices that either until she points it out when someone is trying to decide between finishes.

No one other than you is going to notice your knobs and pulls.

You are only seeing a part of it. Of course there’s a range and hood (under the window). Don’t freak out I know it’s a controversial choice. There is no island but instead a long table 32”x80”. It’s a small house so we do the best wet can with what we have. We recently downsized from 2800 sf to 1700 sf and love having so much less to take care of.

I was looking for advice on hardware for the pantry. I feel pretty good about the rest of it.

This is what 12” looks like on the cabinets and 6” on the drawers. Kendra - Love the ones you posted.

Looks like it's going to be a beautiful kitchen! I get the idea of using bail pulls given the overall aesthetic, but I think the proportions are off with very deep but somewhat narrow drawers. (If it were me this unit would be one drawer wide and have two doors, not four, across the top - but that ship has sailed).

You need something beefier. Consider a bin pull or flush pull (though the latter would have complicated install, it's more furniture like).

Armac Martin is good for inspiration (that's where I got these example photos), but they're hideously overpriced. It's not an exaggeration to say they are at least 2x and up to 5x what other high quality, domestic manufactured, solid brass hardware goes for. I would find a good hardware wholesaler.

Check out Mark Lewis Interior Design online; not inexpensive, but less $ than many.

I replaced cabinets in my old home, searched for the perfect bail pulls and knobs, and then decided to hold off putting them on because I had to move. Now I am in the process of redoing my new kitchen, but my drawers are much wider than in my old house. I still have my old hardware, and I will use the knobs, but I searched and searched and finally found larger pulls on eBay. Now I'm just trying to figure out the vertical placement on my deep drawers
