Next to the entrance door, I'm not seeing that as a prime placement without moving the chairs over to give it space.

First, reposition the rug and pull it back to get it our of the walkway at the front door. Take another photo and don't use panoramic as it alters our perception of the room. Get at least all front furniture legs on the rug. Go with a darker blue sofa.

Consider painting the interior side of your front door in a complimentary color to work with your fabrics.

I do like the idea of painting the inside of the door, I had thought of that. But I'll need to figure the color for the loveseat first.

I don't think adding a loveseat is the proper solution for seating in the space. Maybe there is a better location for the TV

Yes, I mentioned earlier the rug is to big, to ignore it. I like the idea of a round rug, hadn't thought of that. If I move the tv closer it will be in the middle of the room as I need a pathway from the door.

I like a dark blue best, as suggested by elcieg.
