I’m looking for recommendations from professional Landscape and Garden Designers about the design and management apps they use.

Specifically, the best design applications for a small Landscape Design, Installation and Maintenance / Management Company. Right now, I use Arcsite, which is great, but it’s not specifically for landscape design.

I just stumbled upon ’Shoot’ a wholistic looking design and garden maintenance/management app which looks promising. Anyone have experience with this?

Some others I’ve briefly looked into include DynaScape and iScape, but don’t know enough about them to understand whether they would be a good fit for my company.

Background: I have a small, landscape and garden design company, called Simply Native Plants based out of Bryson City, in the mountains of Western North Carolina. Our Services include:

- Consultation

- Landscape and Garden Design

- Installation

- Education

We do light/simple hardscaping (beds, borders, stepping stone paths etc… not extensive landscape architecture/construction),

- expert plant selection and sourcing

- hand drawn and digital designs

- professional gardening upkeep and management (not lawn maintenance).

- We primarily use native plants with some exceptions

We are a botanist/horticulturist husband and wife team. We only hire labor occassionally, as needed. We do all the work ourselves and subcontract out anything that requires large machinery etc.

I’m looking for something that would streamline the design and management process, ideally so I can easily communicate and translate the design, process, and maintenance to my clients, as well as keep track of all of our clients’ landscapes as our garden management services are becoming more popular.
