How much does it matter that one picture is 4-inches longer than the other? Should I align them at the top, bottom, or center? How far apart should they be and where should I hang them in relation to the sectional?

The lampshade is actually a rust color, rather than pink. But it looks washed-out next to the vibrant colors in the picture, so I get your point.

If you remove the side table the sofa can move closer to the built-ins and leave more room for the artwork.

Then get frame lights for the art and a table lamp on the counter for reading. Like a gooseneck you can aim down. Or a low library floor lamp.

This is a visual.!!!!!!!.......It your picture with a trace over. Look at the couch cushions. See how the BOTTOM lines up. Don't leave more than 8" bottoms of picture to sofa. Don't leave more than 4 inches between them, bang the picture nails/hooks, hang , take a picture and return.

A nail hole is not a cavernous GRAND CANYON. If they need an adjustment, they do. Hang them. As above. and below.

Colors belong on pillows, not lamp shades. Get a soft white drum shade.
