Opinions on countertop

Hello, I am trying to decide between two counterops, their main difference is color/pattern and this is where I would like to hear others opinion. The house has an warm minimal / japandi style. Lots of natural oak wood on furniture, the walls will be painted with an Simply White (OC-117) by Benjamin Moore (off-white), floors with Italian tiles 120x60 Kong Bianco by Capri (bright grey). I would like to use the same countertop for kitchen and bathrooms to keep materials used in the house to minimum. Kitchen's cabinets will be a mix of real oak veneere and lacquer off-white RAL 095 93 05 (Crepe Silk White) which has a nice match with the wood. Now the countertops I have in mind are both from Caesarstone:

4001 Fresh Concrete (matte)
1001 Riverlet (matte)

As expected pictures of the materials online don't make justice to how they actually look thats what I attached some pictures I took with all the materials combined. Sure even in my images ther colors are off but at least in sync.

Thanks for providing pictures of the color selections together! Some pictures of the interior space would probably help us look at the entire picture as well.

I'm not sure which is which, but in these images and based on the information I like the slightly darker sample. To me it feels like it coordinates well, but there is just a small amount of contrast that helps it not look like you tried to match the other whites in the space.

good point, the one little darker and cooler is the Fresh Concrete and the brighter and tittle warmer is the Riverit.

My wife likes the Fresh Concrete as she feels has better contrast to off-white cabinets but I fear that this stone will make the kitchen which is part of an open space area a bit more cool minimal instead of warm minimal as the rest of the house. Also the Riverit has a bit of vein pattern like real stone while the other mimics concrete.

I have heard there are a lot of staining/cleaning issues with matte quartz, so you may want to look into that before deciding. I know there have been some posts here about that issue.

Yes, search the forums here for the exact products/colors you are considering.

Personally I don't think either of them is a winner with your warm white and wood.

Are you open to loosing the waterfall edge on the island. It’s reading ‘a lot of countertop’ to me and more of the wood of the island cabinets seems better to me with the floor tile. Also, I think either countertop pairs well with your floor which is the most important criteria. However your cabinets are reading a touch too yellow to me. Can that be adjusted to a slightly more neutral white?

Or - if the cabinets cannot be adjusted I’d say go deliberately darker with the Fresh Concrete so it looks intentional. The lighter one will look like a miss with the cabinets. And then match the wall color to the cabinets. Because a true white wall will make the cabinets look dingy.
