the sample are often deceiving, you'll see much more movement than the sample shows, so much depends on what you want.

Personally, I would go for the lightest, less pattern available. I always pick simple countertops, there is always so much going on in the kitchen. GOOD LUCK.

For quartz, I'd do the one with the least pattern, upper left. Are you set on quartz or is stone an option?

None of those they are all too gray so look for somthing darker and not bright white and gray. I hate quatz so my choice always would be real stone with a color in it from the cabinets to make it look right . None of those IMO work with the floor either they look like you tried to match and missed. Maybe while at the stone yard see a slab of fantasy brown quartzite too along with some granites

From my perspective you need to take flooring, natural light, doors, trim, windows all into account as well.

Thank you all for your responses. Would anyone have pictures of countertops with brown cabinets to share? We prefer quartz because of the low maintenance.

Have you tried the photo search here? You can adjust a lot of search settings/terms. You can filter for "light wood" and "engineered quartz" and even more features to browse a bazillion examples.

I feel like the counters are too similiar to the flooring and they won’t complement each other once they are installed - if you know the tile name, perhaps search kitchens with that specific flooring and see what they did? i would be tempted to go with a simple white counter or go darker for contrast (charcoal grey or black maybe?)

Agree with lalagirl. I would either use a dark tile floor with a light countertop. Or the light floor with a dark counter top. I like Frosty Carina, it's a very subtle marble-look quartz.

I love that stain on the maple cabinets! Can you give me the color of the stain?

It is a custom stain on the door sample. Our cabinetmaker first provided us with a stain sample that was lighter and they were able to get it close to the color that we wanted.

@Nicole H, I just noticed a small sticker in the back of the sample that has the door color: Mocha stain. Hope that helps.

@Kristi Korb. I have not decided yet. My countertop installer has suggested other options, HanStone: Le Blanc or Antello. Have you decided on the flooring?

Have you taken the door and other samples to a stone yard? That is the best way to see what a slab looks like with your door.

@RedRyder. I went to see the large slabs displayed at the showrooms but I find it hard to decide on one with subtle veins, that will complement our light grey floor tile.

The problem is your light grey floor tile. Get a plain white quartz or a contrasting darker one with subtle veins. Anything in a veined white quartz is always going to look like you tried to match it but failed.
