HELP my living room is dreadful!!

last year

Looking for some creative ideas to transform my living room! I’d love to incorporate a subtle Roman/Renaissance- think understated elegance, nothing too bold or over-the-top. I don’t want it to look to in your face. I don’t know how to describe it properly but in my head I’m thinking of white statues, columns, and Michelangelo. I can’t change the wall color and I want to keep the bright, airy feel from the natural light pouring in. The room already has a lot of burnt orange and white tones, so I’d like ideas that work with those. Any suggestions for decor, furniture, or accents that could tie this vision together? I go thrifting a lot and 98% of my decor is thrifted so I like the uniqueness of my stuff. I hate the couch and basically all the furniture. I only got it because I needed something at the time. Now I’d like to work on making it how I want it. I really am just looking for advice on color schemes as far as accent chairs, couches, coffee/end tables. However I’m not opposed to changing the theme and I also like the idea of having a pop of color in like an accent chair or something.
