mirror shape advise for Foyer

I was planning on getting a round mirror (38 - 40") with black trim for my foyer now I'm not so sure. Is the round lamp throwing it off? Suggestions please. The foyer table is by Hooker (56" wide), I have black doors with a black foyer light with gold candles. The large picture on the opposite wall has a brown frame works with foyer table. House style is modern craftsmen. Thank you

I’d cut out a paper mockup of the round mirror & see how the shape looks above the table. The foyer has a lot of geometric shapes going on with the overhead light & doors & table & lamp added in. I might try a tall rectangular mirror with black frame instead & remove the lamp. That would allow the interesting shape of table base to stand out more & not get lost in shapes.
