Pretty kitchen. Because of the angle from the lower neighbor to your window, unless you're doing dishes in the nude, I wouldn't worry about a window covering there. They are going to be able to see you from the neck up when you are at the sink and not much but the top of your head if you step back from the sink. I like the expansive territorial view and I'll bet your neighbor will pull their blinds so you can't see into THEIR house!

You didn't picture your sofa or chairs. Whether that rug works or not will depend on the shades of blue and brown you have. If they are in the rug, then it will be fine with your floors. Be sure you get a large enough rug. If you post the size of your room and the size of your couch and chairs, people can suggest the right size to get. People often purchase rugs that are undersized.

You have a lot of variation of pattern in the floors and countertops. I would look for a simpler rug.

I think your brown and blue furnishings will work together because you have warm tones and cool tones in the finishes.

I've looked at several rugs like that before online (Karastan has some like that) and they look very different in real life. Given the gray washed flooring perhaps something more neutral in color and less bold in pattern.

I might suggest a gray slipcover for the loveseat? Gold or gray? Lots of gold straw baskets for kitty to play in and storage? And while the floors are a cool ash tone - beautiful! - gold and silver and blue — clean and very classic look! You can certainly put blinds in the kitchen or curtains, and I would have at least some window covering? Canvas curtains? Still pondering …

Dont have any furniture yet except my chocolate loveseat from my current apartment, so was just asking and thinking of blue chairs/sofa and white tv console to buy. Guess im putting the cart before the horse as they say lol. Very first place as a owner so guess im jumping the gun.
