950 square foot lake house, need siding help!

Hello! We recently purchased a small, 950 square foot, rectangle of a lake house and need help selecting siding. I’ve been leaning toward granite gray, sterling, or graystone (all from Certainteed) but also love white! Everything inside is being redone as well, with a light/white oak vinyl floor, light/medium wood stained kitchen, and agreeable gray paint (unless all these other things change). We will also do some complementary colored stonework on the exterior to break it up a bit and add texture.
Is granite gray too dark? Is sterling gray too blue? Is graystone as warm as I think it looks?

Do you want it to look cheerful when you drive up? Or dignified?

Get samples to see how they appear in your light, at both day and evening. I don't see that you have space for any stonework unless its to replace the brick along the foundation? I'd expand the porch and steps.

The porch and stairs will all be redone eventually, focusing on windows and siding first!

I’m not familiar with the colors you mentioned. Just wanted to show this lake house with the gray/blue siding and white trim. Looks cheerful to me!

This is what I think of re: cheery/light/airy lake houses (my house is like the first photo below):

I didn't want it to look gray - but more like weathered wood color - versatile but feels like it belongs at the lake or beach.

If I was bold enough - I would have used the door color on more of the house - like below:

Great colors shown on the thread - just a vote to skip any stone veneer, keep it simple & classic - add interest with great landscaping

We will have 2 large (symmetrical) windows and a French door to maximize the lake view with steps leading down to a concrete patio. I could definitely leave room to landscape around d the bottom of the house.
Still leaning towards light beige, light gray or white. I’m not a bold color type of gal. Love it when others do it, but picking out boring colors causes me enough anxiety… LOL!
