Any advice on updating this space. This is a kitchen/family area. In the center of the room is a large brick fireplace and on the far wall is the back of another large brick fireplace. Plus over the kitchen island is a drop down vent hood, so the whole vaulted space seems cramped. Should I remove a fire place, like the one in the middle, and maybe make the wall fireplace open to the other room? Open to ideas, suggestions.
