I'd push down on the front edge of the pan to allow it to flex enough to clear that rail. And pull forward.

There are screws (red arrows) that appear to be blocking the tray from passing. Perhaps they're intended to help anchor the tray in-place??

Try pressing down in the slots (blue arros) below the screws to flex the tray downwards to clear the screws. Fingers or maybe a flat screwdriver ... but carefully to avoid potentially cracking the tray.

i was able to slide it out successfully! i had to press it down.
