walnut or white oak slate wall panels complementary to gold oak floor

I would like to add a slate accent wall in the space behind the TV.
I have gold oak would flooring throughout.
I would love to use walnut color slate but don't know it it compliments golden oak. Would white oak slate be a better choice?

Home Depot also sell such wall panels. You can order a four-color sample set.

What is Walnut Slate or White Oak Slate? I have never heard these terms.

Did you mean to type SLAT INSTEAD OF SLATE?

Is these what you were trying to determine?

I would not select the walnut or the oak. IMO this slat wall idea is already passe'.

If you had to select one, I'd select the dark graphite & place a wall hung cabinet below it. They sell them on Wayfair. They are modestly priced.

No slate on a wall IMO but thinking a slat wall is what yu are asking about. IMO the same wood as the floor I do not like walnut and oak together ever . IMO walnut is a classy wood and oak more casual. I like slat walls but they need to work with all the elements in a space . So post pics here of your space then better help will come. Post the pic here in a comment DO NOT start another post.
