Tell me about forever Amber

I saw this in person as a tree and fell in love!

of you grow it can you trll me if the color is always / mostly this beautiful ? the tag is darker than i see in person . it was so pretty in person . does it rebloom well ?

Mine was new last year so I can't comment on it for blooms, but it has survived our winters well (not a concern for you). With blooms like that I think you'd be tempted to give it a try.

Lily, Forever Amber is listed on HMFR as being 18" to 3' tall. It's a mini/miniflora for height, but a grandiflora/hybrid tea for bloom size (3.75"), IMHO. Get it if you can afford it, and have room for it! Seems to be the right size for pot cultured as a tree, not to leggy and having the necessary stiff stems with strong necks.

If it is also black spot free and was not a tree but a regular bush I would grab it up. That full petaled, and nicely quilled boom is not commonly seen. The bloom color as HMFR states, is "amber with lighter edges". Seems the photo's blooms color on the tag is inaccurate.

Kristine .. I’m only seeing menagerie with it at the moment . I tried calling a few local nurseries and they were too busy to check for me so I guess I’m dragging my kiddos all around town 😅. The trouble with that is I will probably go home with more than I am looking for! HCR has ot listed as needing to grow more ..

My local Armstrong was selling it for … drumroll please … $119 for tree form ! Insane lol

It gets fab reviews on hmf . Moses , it is mentioned in reviews that the listing is inaccurate for size :(. I likely would condemn it to a pot either way .

I really want to run out and look for it but really could use a sitter 🤪

Next time I'm at HCR I will take a picture of this years Forever Amber. Last year the plants were big and beautiful but my overall impression this year was that they must have gotten started late or maybe not enough employees so it took longer to get everything going.

Could be. In the pictures the tree rose looks more pink.
