Beautiful! Are you taking plants from your current yard to the new one in Beaverton? Unfortunately, visiting yours or Dancing Oaks isn't in the script for the near future but it will be exciting to see what you do in your new digs. BTW, Dan Hinkley will be giving a talk at the Nehalem Performing Arts April 25, in Nehalem. Surely will be a great presentation for all our local plant enthusiats.

zephyrgal, Of course I will! I have 410 varieties in the garden, probably will be taking around 30 or 40, if I have the time and energy to do so. These will be small, recently planted stuff, and largely offsets from spreading types that will remain in the garden.

Congratulations on your new home!! Haven't visited Beaverton in some time but I remember it being a great location. Sounds like you're going to have your hands full for the next couple of months. Is Vulcan going with you?

Pam, yes it will be a busy month. But I feel fortunate to have pulled it all together just in time to plant tomatoes in the new garden.

I wasn't planning on taking Vulcan, but I just happened to run into the buyer of our house and she said "take anything you want, I'll just kill it through neglect". I know Magnolias don't appreciate root disturbance...
