How do you clean the glass inside the oven door?

My stove is almost 20 years old, I tried all the information I found on the subject, and the wire will not get in to clean it. Any other suggestions that may work?

Easy Off fume free in the blue can. Spray in cold oven and let sit over night.

Ooops sorry, If you meant the glass between the door then you most likely have to disassemble the door. I just did this recently on my Blue Star range. It really wasn’t as bad as I thought it would be. There are videos on youtube that show you how it is done.

    Looked where?

Are there any screws on the oven door? I'd look at the door and see if there is a way to take it apart.

Sorry for the "infomercial" - I just was going to only suggest the below product for the inside of your oven glass - but when I went to grab a few photos from reviews where it was used to clean ovens, I found all of these other uses - so, I thought I'd pass them along to let you know that you wouldn't be buying this just to use for your oven glass (I hate having a bunch of different cleaning products - I basically use what I've shown below + Dawn dish soap + isopropyl rubbing alcohol (and sometimes white vinegar).

Have you heard of The Pink Stuff?

It cleans so many things! I used it on my cooktop (with a scrub daddy sponge - so not abrasive sponge) - and it worked really well at removing all of the marks (some were when my daughter made pasta and the water was too high in the pan and spilled over the edge onto the cooktop + whatever else she did while using the cooktop while I was out of the house for a few months because of health issues - she was probably around 22 years old + not great at cleaning! I had tried to remove all of the marks with various products - none of them would completely remove the marks.

I also used it to clean my oven - inside + glass door. I didn't take any before/after photos - but it worked very well. My cleaning person (comes every other week) offered to open the oven door in order to clean between the glass panes - she also uses The Pink Stuff - it looked perfect! Again, she used a scrub daddy sponge.

My SO recently purchased one of those rotating scrubbers after hearing about it on GMA - he plays that while getting ready for work in the morning - and apparently they have a section where they review/recommend different products/clothes/jewelry/etc. (this is a separate scrubbing tool - it's not the heads that you use with a drill - those can be too harsh + my understanding is that the drill becomes heavy for your hands/arms).

I decided to use it the day it arrived - and it's a bit addictive! I cleaned one of my bathtubs + cleaned a few windows in the dining nook in my kitchen (the windows are just a few inches off the floor + have another smaller window above them - ceiling is vaulted in that area = really tall). The tool has extension poles - I used Dawn + some rubbing alcohol in a spray bottle. It worked really well (even on the outside part of the glass). I'm kind of looking forward to cleaning one of my ovens when needed - and using The Pink Stuff with the rotating scrubber (instead of manually scrubbing with a scrub daddy sponge).

My sister used a similar one to clean her oven - she used the softer brush head on the glass in order to make sure that it didn't scratch + used The Pink Stuff (after I told her to buy it). She said that adding The Pink Stuff required less time to clean - and less energy on her part (you're not supposed to press down on the rotating scrubber - you are just supposed to just run it across whatever surface you're cleaning without adding any extra pressure.

Here are some before/after photos of various things people have cleaned using The Pink Stuff (I purposely didn't post some of the before/after photos of nasty toilets/tubs/sinks - I am shocked at how dirty people let those things become before looking for something to clean off all the dirt/gunk - I know people ignore their ovens - but how can you shower/bathe in a tub that is basically black!):

Obviously, she didn't open her oven door to clean the glass from inside - but it still looks a lot better.

Here is a photo where someone used The Pink Stuff on half of the glass:

It can be used to remove oil spots from fabric (+ clean the rubber parts of sneakers to make them white again - there were quite a few examples from people who cleaned their sneakers):

Burned on stuff - can be used on ceramic pans (I believe this is a dutch oven that hadn't ever been scrubbed before - she said that she needed to do it again if she wanted to make it look brand new - but didn't care enough to do so):

    Enameled pan:

    stainless steel pan:

    Also works on copper:

Easily removes scratches (utensil marks?) from plates/serving dishes"

Apparently, if you have well water - your shower (or tub) can look like the photo on the right side - left photo is the same shower surround:

I was a shocked when I saw that someone used The Pink Stuff to clean a real marble shower. I wouldn't have ever tried it on my marble shower!

    Before:

    After:

works on grout inside a shower/tub surrond + on floors:

Works on hard water build up on glass shower doors:

    ceramic cooktop:

stainless steel appliances (although it looks like it was left on a little too long and needs to be removed with some hot water - you don't leave the pink stuff on things for a long time):

This person used hair dye that left a blue stain on the bottom of her tub (couldn't get it off using other products - this photo is after several months of build up) - she said that she didn't need to scrub hard in order to clean the dye residue off the one rectangle on the right:

This is shocking to me - this person was cleaning items after a fire - she didn't think that she should use it on this wood jewelry box (had a pretty shiny finish protecting the wood). It worked well - although she might polish it up a bit or add a coat of protective finish:

This person wrote that residual smoke from using their fireplace caused a layer of soot to develop on all of their doors/trim - used The Pink Stuff on the top part of the door (easy to remove):

I was surprised by how many people used it to remove crayon/markers/rub marks on their walls:

When I used it, I just slid the scrub daddy on the paste - and used it dry on the oven/cooktop/tub. I think it works best if it's not watered down before using. They also have a spray option (plus, I believe some other products in the line) - but The Pink Stuff paste appears to work better than any of the other products in the line.

@dani_m08 Now I am going to have to look for the Pink Stuff.
