Colour ideas for walls, and a simple kitchen refresh - if possible to do with these pictures

I'm still clueless as to what you are asking. Maybe it's because I'm gobsmacked by your beautiful brick ceiling. My lord it is great.

Are you asking what colors to paint the kitchen walls or what color to paint all of the walls in your open living area including the kitchen? Are you renovating the kitchen in any other way aside from painting?

Thank you for the kind words.

I guess I don’t really know what I want. The ceiling is a masterpiece for sure!

Is there a warmer colour than the current full white walls, that would complement the tile floors and ceiling without it getting too dark? The white walls carry throughout the entire home.

I’d like to change the kitchen counter and cabinets, but nothing too slick, though updates and simplified. I thought open cabinets (the ones below the counter are the same look as the ones in the wall. This isn’t my primary home, yet. One day!

"Maybe it's because I'm gobsmacked by your beautiful brick ceiling." Same!

I like the bright color of your walls that you currently have. One update I'd consider would be to swap out the half-height drapes for some nice shades in a beautiful fabric or woven material. If you like the light that comes through your sheers, you could consider light filtering shades. (I got mine from The Shade Store, and the fabric-covered valances provide a nice finished look.)

I don't usually love tile counters, but I really like the yellow trim on yours. If you don't love the tiles on the hood, you could swap them for some colorful Mexican Talavera tiles. But I like how the yellow trim on the counters is echoed in the tile you currently have around the hood.

Another idea is to swap out the beige rugs for something with more color; something that includes the cheerful yellow and blue from your tiles would be great.

Your home looks lovely and cheerful!

The only thing I would want to do is rip up that tile floor immediately! I hate saltillo style tile and I removed 3000+ sq. ft of it, from wall and floors, in my previous house. Hard to live with and hard to decorate around. No regrets.

I could live with everything else in the space.
