The Old House Home Repair Flooring

any advice on how to match this laminate flooring previously installed

last year

This laminate flooring was installed before I moved in and I need to replace a few pieces. Any advice on how I can find a match? I went to Lowe’s and Home Depot already with no luck.

Laminate has a very short lifespan on store shelves- 12-24 months maybe. This being hand scraped tells me they are probably a decade old- almost no chance of finding more. Is there nowhere you can steal it from like a closet?

Thank you so much, I love this suggestion! I do have a closet I could steal from. Would you suggest when I redo the closet to try to match colors as close as I can? Or what do you think a buyer would most want when I resell?

What do you think a buyer would most want when I resell? - The truth!

It's a closet so it should be no big deal if there a difference with the main floor, just try to get it as close as you can.
