You need to post pictures showing the entire room and each wall. Also we need to see the entire island from further back so that we see more than just a peek of the pendant that there now.

If your fireplace stone were configured correctly you could consider placing the TV over the fireplace.

If you want a larger TV you'll have to mount it on the large wall and turn the sectional towards it.

Paint color: suggest you pick a color from the stone surrounding the fireplace. Perhaps a gray or beige? Wish you could have someone install the same stone all the way up the wall. The stone wall looks unfinished.

I find the blue wall color distracting because it's the only cool color in the space. I agree with Mae Day's advice about choosing a color from the fireplace stone. Look at the countertop and backsplash colors too. You need to stay with a warm palette. The fireplace does look wrong like Mae Day said also. If you really want to move to cool colors (maybe the fireplace, countertops and backsplash were there when you bought the house?), you would need to change out the warm colors. If you don't like neutrals, do you like green? Greens play better with warm colors than blues.

100% agreed. I do not like the blue in the house. What rug colors would uou recommend then? I like some of these colors as interior paint options

Try Glacier White or Sea salt samples on the fireplace wall. Look at them through out the day in the different light to see which one you like the most.

Sea salt looks great in so many spaces. Try a samplize swatch of it in different parts of your room and at different times of day. While you are looking at paint, concurrently look for a rug. Hopefully your wall is neutral enough to go with your rug and the stone colors around you.

I agree the light over the island is a little dinky and underwhelming. I'd get a small multiple light piece to hang that is a bit more of a focal point. Not sure what you style is so it is hard to suggest.

Rugs: suggest a dark brown that matches your side table and TV console.
