Electrical Wiring

power while relaxing

last year

I have a set up in my family room where my couch is not near a wall. We would like to use electrically powered items while sitting on the couch. We are on a slab. Right now we accomplish that with a power strip that is run across the room (hazard), but I would like to replace that, but with what?....is there a such thing as a wireless outlet, maybe it is battery charged every couple of days...or power is transmitted from a plugged in device across the room

i'm brain storming and coming up empty, lol

i want to plug in cell phone, laptop and foot massager

i know there is something that can be used for recliners to help them operate, i'm looking for similar

Thanks Dennis, it is a possibility, but I guess I was looking for something a little less bulky and obvious

i like that it can be hidden and then there is a charger cord that you might be abe to use at night to re-charge then it can be hidden again...no constant hazardous wiring

I use a couple of eco flow rechargable batteries.

I like A Mat's suggestion - something like a small EcoFlow or Jackery box may be a better option for you. While probably larger than what I offered it would probably be less "obvious" if out in the open. I had assumed this could go inside an end cabinet or something next to the couch - where were you planning on putting this power source?
