Have three dwarf peach trees with some damage to the base of the trunks. The fruit never ripened fully; I've been thinking of digging them up, moving to a sunnier spot, and trying to address the trunk damage. Worth it or not? I was thinking of painting the base of the trunks, and giving them hardware cloth cages.
