We are building a house that has an open kitchen/dr/lr floor plan. The kitchen and dining room are on a north facing wall with one window. The living room is on a south facing wall with 6 large windows and a view of the wetlands and bay. I initially wanted to paint all the walls SW Rainwashed but have concerns that the green will detract from the beautiful water views. Would it be better to paint the rooms SW Minimalist or Nantucket Dune and use Rainwashed as an accent on the pantry and bedroom door? I am planning on a white oak lvp on the floors.
