Have you considered living with it? A grass lawn is essentially a monoculture and there is no rule that says a lawn must only be comprised of turf grasses. Unless a turf grass purist, other low growing, spreading plants can be a positive contribution, particularly for pollinators. Creeping Charlie, Glechoma hederacea, is evergreen with an appealing blue flower. But it has a pernicious spreading root system that raking will have no impact on. To get rid of it completely requires a dedicated attack with pesticides, which I prefer to avoid.

i have been living with it. the stuff is so entrenched i don't think it will ever go away. worst part is that it's choking out the clover that i planted for my hives. the other hassle i have is moles. i'm good at trapping them but it's become a full time job. my yard has a 3% grade. tunnels that run north & south ( following the grade ) get blown out. the water enters high & by the time it reaches the downhill side the tunnel is 8" wide. i have a mutant corgi/jack russel mix that digs them & kills them too but she does more damage than the moles.

+1 for the dedicated attack with pesticides and +1 for trying to avoid that. The approach that seems to work against creeping Charlie is to spray with something like RoundUp once, and then watch it for a week to 10 days. It will come back from seeds, so when you see the new germinations returning, spray it again right away before it has another chance to reseed. The RoundUp will kill all your clover, too, so understand this is a big deal. When you think you have to Charlie wiped out, then you can reseed with clover. Then if you see the occasional creeping Charlie leaf, dig that sucker out immediately and burn it. If you keep on it, eventually it will become a clover lawn again.
