You need to show us a drawing of the floorplan (on graph paper) with all dimensions carefully measured as inches can count, along with how the space relates to the adjacent spaces. I assume there is a bedroom nearby that you want this bath to open into? Is the room shown in the interior picture the room on the back of the house with a door? If not, show a picture of the exterior where the two windows are. What is the exterior cladding of the house? Is it stone?

Thanks, @kandrewspa. The room shown in the interior picture is the room on the back of the house with the door, which opens into the Master bedroom. I'll work on obtaining the Floorplan, as I move in and get documentation on 05/05. The exterior cladding of the house is all stone. 👍 

So! It's off this bedroom in a really cute house, in perfect move in condition! A gem!

I'm not for rushing with remodels on any new to you home, and we have no idea if just you? You're a young couple? You have kid/s etc? What your idea of a decent bath would be or anything.

Given locale, I doubt there is a basement, so what of the laundry? Where does it go?

It's a two bed, one hall bath home.

What about the stone? Not to mention the three sides of windows including a door in this "laundry"!

Logic would say IF,and this is by NO means a thing for a rush, or even if I'd sanction it at all....!! you'd lose the window in the master bedroom, and the two behind the W/D which I assume face the neighbor...... But you would need to lose more, depending your idea of what you need in the bath?

Meanwhile.......there IS a hall bath, a re created 5 x 9 with a weeeny shower? bumped into another space to gain the shower which might feel like a broom closet size?

But you can get clean? : )

Live, and lots of thought , first.....because a bump/ more space in a bath, AND a laundry... house might be worth it.
