Sorry I have no idea what you mean by a tacile finish. Counters best to be smooth and easy to cleaan always. I do not like honed stone and my bet is the satin finish on the fake stone is a mimic . I really dilke quartz so maybe someone with this finish will help here.

You'd better get a large sample and play with it first.

Patricia, sorry - a typo. Tactile. Textured. I had an Antolini Negresco for years which had incredible texture and I have decided that is specifically what I want again now. And it is very easy to clean. I have had both granite and quartz. With what I can find in Saskatoon, I have chosen quartz.

Joseph - I have had several large samples and know the surface relatively well. My question went to (I had hoped) anyone who has had it in their own home and if they saw any problems or changes over time.

My Inverness Frost is installed. It has a beautiful and crisp classic look. The color is white but not cold, which is what I seriously hoped to avoid. It is also our backsplash. The Satin finish is heaven for no glare and dead easy to clean. Very rich looking. The debossing is truly gorgeous. If anything, I could wish for a bit more, but that also comes down to how the slabs are cut (we have some interesting angles to deal with in our perimeter cabinetry) so some was “lost” to cutting but will be recouped in the vanities they are now able to also get out of our material. I write this only because searches for Inverness Frost don’t come up with a lot of feed back. Will it stand up to time? That I can’t know yet, but this is NOT a fragile nor porous surface so I have no reason to anticipate problems. As I said before, I have had both granite and quartz kitchens. This is very like the granite I had for texture and surface finish. That makes me highly content with our choice. Our kitchen looks fresh, new and, to be honest, gorgeous.

Mezzsop…can you share a photo? Did you prefer the satin to the matte?
