Neither paint colour is coordinated to the vanity door you show. If you want something dark, go for the same tone as the cabinet.

My preference would be to go lighter rather than darker.

Perhaps a bit lighter with an undertone that is also more complementary.

Also suggest the wall color below (or similar).

Alabaster lighting would be stunning and be sure mirror and hardware are complementary.

The mirror will be a medicine cabinet that matches the vanity.

or is this merely a decor fixture? Both color options look very dark, to me.

Which of the 2 are you drawn to? Is the Sea Salt a done deal?

What about the colors in several shades lighter? They will look darker in a small space.

What other sources of light do you have? recessed?

Do you have a lot of natural light in the bathroom to make up for the lack of light?

I don't want to upset you, but if you are searching for something light, but in your color scheme, I would suggest you sample. BM Whispering Spring and BM Morning Sky Blue. or BM Ocean Air?

Not sure if the tile you show is something you're considering of if it's already installer but I would suggest something lighter. Lighter wall colour would also be better.

Thank you everyone for your feedback. You convinced me that BM Smoke and BM Pale Smoke aren't the best choices. I would love to know your thoughts on color choices for the wall. What do you think of warm whites, BM Ocean Air, or SW Sea Salt (not to be mistaken with BM Sea Salt).

I already ordered the vanity and mirror in BM Sea Salt and to be honest I love the color. WRT the bath tile, it is much lighter than what is shown in the picture above (like a greyish-white background) and goes well with BM Sea Salt. For the alabaster lighting, it sound like I would need a second source of light (e.g., pot lights) because it has a golden light.

Alabaster is stone and I have seen many ruined light fixtures because someone installed a light bulb that generated too much heat and 'burned' the alabaster. Just be aware.

Hard to generate too much heat if you use an LED bulb. Hard to buy anything but an LED bulbs these days!

I took my samples to a local reputable paint store. Apparently, I don't know my colors because the consultant told me that my floor tile is dark greige (not brown!).

Here are samples of the countertop (top left), vanity (middle left), bath tile (bottom left), and floor tile (right) in natural lighting. Hopefully, the true color comes through.

I am now considering lighter colors, namely BM Sheep's wool or BM Gray Cashmere. Thanks for the light bulb advice! Much appreciated.

I’d wait to choose a color until everything is installed and then test samples, as undertone and lighting will effect the color. Consider going lighter and maybe try one or two shades lighter than Sea Salt on the multiple color paint card. The walls will fade into the background, letting your selections pop and room feel more seamless.
