The tiles are so similar that the only difference you'll see is a different grout pattern. I guess it depends of you like square grout pattern on the the wall and rectangle on the floor but the patterning looking the same otherwise.

Not sure if it would look good or awkward, but you can't go wrong doing the same everywhere. I love you cabinet color with them though!!!

Personal choice but I like the bathrooms to be different. My house was built with every bathroom the same. I remolded and did them all different. I feel it looks more custom that way.

Personally, I wouldn't use the same tile in both bathrooms. When I see bathrooms completed that way, it reminds me of tract homes where the builder is too lazy to select different finishes for each bathroom. However, some people like to use the same countertop/cabinets/etc. for the kitchen and all bathrooms. I think it looks more custom when the same exact materials aren't used.

Plus, there are so many pretty tiles available - why would you want to repeat the same exact ones in a second bathroom???!!!!??!?😀

While your builder may only offer a select number of options, are you able to provide your own tile? You can use tile that isn't very expensive, but have it installed in an interesting pattern (not running bond = 50/50 offset - the typical way subway tile has been installed for a long time - until recently). If you have a larger subway shape tile (for example, a 4x12) - you could have it installed in a herringbone pattern, basketweave, stacked vertical or horizontal pattern, etc. - there are many different patterns which will make a simple rectangular tile look more stylish by selecting a different installation pattern.

I also am not a fan of faux marble tile - I've only seen one faux marble tile that looked very nice - in one of Chispa's bathrooms - and I'm sure it was fairly expensive. I feel like faux marble tiles have been overused during the last 4-5+ years - and I don't think that faux marble tiles are a "classic" choice that will stay in style like real marble.

The faux marble tile (as you've shown above) may not have many different patterns on the tile - if that is the case, it will make the tile look even more fake because there will be repeated tiles with exactly the same veining patterns. You should find out how many different tile patterns are included by the manufacturer.

I would definitely NOT use two different faux marble tiles in the same bathroom. It will look as if you ran out of tile and tried to find a substitute tile to complete the work. Not only will it be obvious that the veining is different between the two tiles, the background "white" of the tiles will not match - and will be obvious (regardless of whether the tiles abut each other or not).

What shape is the 2x2 white tile? I would definitely use a small tile on the shower floor. Are there other tiles (different size/shape) that match the white shower pan tiles? If there are, you could use one of those on the bathroom floor.

OR - are there any options that work well with the color of the veining of one of the faux marble tiles? I've seen quite a few bathrooms that have a larger grayish hexagon tile on the bathroom floor - or if the tiles have some warmer veining - you could use a color that coordinates with the warmer veins.

If you love the faux marble tiles, you should go ahead and use them on the shower/tub walls in one of the bathrooms - however, I wouldn't use them again for the shower/tub surround in the other bathroom. If there is a faux marble hexagon (or other different shaped tile - like a faux marble basketweave), you could use that on the bathroom floor of the second bathroom if you want to coordinate the materials for both bathrooms.

Without knowing what other tile choices are available, it's difficult to help you select tiles for both bathrooms - other than providing advice to not make both bathrooms look identical.

Don't use 2 tile lines that are so similar in the same bath; I would pick the 12x24 and be done. As for the other bath, pick the floor tile you like best. Is a solid white wall tile subway style available to you for the tub surround?

I choose to do shower walls and bathroom floors the same so 12 x24 for both would always be my choice and actsully even the shower floor same tile only smaller . Fewer choices in a small room the better , in fact I usually choose a plain porcealain tile no pattern . It allows you to change simple things down the road like wall color , accessories without spending huge money to change tile . I do not think it matters if bathrooms are the same no one ever sees them together . The only time I might do them different is the master bath to work with the bedroom
