How you sit in whatever tub, how "short " or long your legs, how much water you fill, etc? All will make a difference.

Water slash for a shower will depend where you place the shower curtain and liner. If the shower curtain liner isn't WITHIN the tub? Yes,,,,,,,,,,water will splash outward.

Hey Jan , I have a tub but I am trying to decide if I should return it.

I have read if you do not have a place to anchor your feet you just float and it may not be comfortable .
My feet are no where near reaching the end of this tub. The tub possibly is my therapy and I use it daily. I

I am hoping to hear from other people whose feet don’t reach the end of their tub to find out if it’s a big deal for most people or if most people don’t care .

If a lot of people feel like it isn’t big deal , I may just keep the one I ordered.

I've seen on other discussions that people who have found their tubs to be too long have placed suction cup type grab bars on the bottom of their tubs to put their feet against.

There's no way to crowd source what will SUIT you best. What have you been floating in, to NOW?

I’m 4’ 10” and have taken a bath in my tub maybe 3 times in the 7 years that I’ve been in my home because I float. It is not comfortable or relaxing at all. If I sit up, it’s ok. But if I try to recline, my legs pop up and I start sliding down until my butt reaches my bath mat.

Jan, I had a tub I loved but my feet reached the end. I do find these responses very helpful.

I recently got a very excessive but wonderful purchase...Badesofa bath pillows. I am shortish and do not reach the end of the tub without the cushions. I love them.

Being 6 feet tall I've rarely ever been in a tub where my feet don't reach the end. In those instances where the tub has been huge it hasn't really been a problem.
