Exterior Design Dilemma

house siding options

Hi all. Can anyone help me visualize some exterior siding options?

Vinyl siding to only replace the wood siding and then paint the stucco the same colour
Can we incorporate board and batten siding at all on the bottom half or would that look weird?
Husband does not want to put siding over the stucco as we just had our windows replaced so would require some retrofitting so mainly looking for options for the wood siding part and gable!

We have not picked out a brand yet. Thinking either navy blues or whites for colour options. Looking for suggestions

The roof is a soft gray. If you are keeping it for now, a soft color for the siding would look good. Navy blue might be a bit too much. Soft white with a bit of gray tone would probably look good. Some siding companies offer a loaner board with siding samples to prop up next to your house for a day or two.

I might consider brick veneer on the bottom of the wall.
