Can I use caulk or glue around stovetop?

What possibilities could safely seal the edges around this glass stovetop? (I have a good reason to do so.)

    The video above was of a flush-mount, induction cooktop which yours isn't.

    From the Installation Instructions, page 6:

    "NOTE: Do not use caulking compound; cooktop should be removable for service when needed."

    If you do try this, use a high heat silicone (example) as electric cooktops get extremely hot.
