What hostas you think should be more known?

Found an very old thread on it. As I have been collecting hostas for over a decade plus, it is interesting to observe ebbs and flows, what gets more popular and what not.What do you think is getting underserved lack of attention?

I love this question. For me, it’s Tokudama Flavocircinalis in my garden. It’s so unimpressive when it’s young, and I would never have bought if I hadn’t seen a mature one.

I am loving Blazing Saddles, it is under a Maple tree and does not need to be pampered. It looks good all season.

I don't know hostas names. Only know one of four in my yard, and it's my favorite. Limelight. It is so dainty, pointy, and bright. Around here in the yards and garden places it's mostly the bigger rounder leaved hostas in a few colors.

I like Apple Candy. As far as I'm aware, it's coloration is fairly unique.

Clausa..for a different reason!..so people would know what they're planting!!..I bought it not knowing that it's stoloniferous (spreads horizontally by runners)..it's been a problem..

Beth , I agree. I am nursing mine back to full size. This year I decided to have overwinter bed as my pots did not do good job. I do not think Apple Candy can be mistaken for anything else.

Mikgag, I looked up Sea Gulf stream, looks like a beauty! Do you have pictures of Templar Gold? HL does not give good examples.

I think Ebb Tide is nowhere to be found too...

Debra, how Paradise Joyce is different from June?

You know Lindalana, I am not quite sure……. But Paradise Joyce comes up very bright yellow. The Junes I’ve had were more blue than the PJ.

But I have often wondered if it is a June. The tag is long gone but I have always had it marked PJ. It’s possible it was mislabeled.

debra, I don't have Paradise Joyce but from what I'm reading, it should come up almost solid blue.

I think anything that comes from Halcyon is garden worthy.
